Proper eBike Battery Care

To preserve the life of your ebike battery and avoid needing a replacement (which can be very costly) follow the simple steps below.

  1. Always charge your battery fully before every ride.

  2. Unplug the battery after the battery is fully charged. Do not leave the battery plugged in all the time as this drastically shortens the life of the battery.

  3. Avoid extreme heat and cold when not using the battery.

  4. Once the weather is consistently below 40℉ or above 100℉ remove the battery and store it inside.

  5. When the batter is not in use, charge the battery for 30 minutes every 60 days. The battery does not have to be fully charged. When the battery is stored, it should have a minimum charge of at least 60%.

  6. During the riding season, the battery can be left on the ebike.

  7. Always use the designated battery charger that you received with your ebike.

  8. Refer to your owner's manual for additional information.

Failure to follow the above guidelines will result in a forfeiture of your ebike warranty.
